Shaping tomorrow today…

A human in the entertainment industry told me that it would be a benefit to me as an artist to have street credibility.

To whom it may concern:

I’m not an artist I am a force.

I’m not simply a star I am a constellation.

My only crime is being a Man that walks amongst Gods and Celestial Being admired by human beings ‘beaming’ light years beyond mere mortal comprehension.

I have never and do not engage in any form of criminal activity up to the time I have written these words and if I did I would never and will never incriminate myself.  To anyone that feels the need to dispute this statement be sure to read my disclaimer.

Street credibility according to mArlOn

Is this when a person/people commit a foul act against a noun (a person, place or thing) and others are aware that they committed this foul act?

Is this when a person/people commit a crime and others are aware that they committed this crime?

Is this when a person/people are arrested for a crime and others are aware of the arrest?

Is this when a person/people are convicted for a crime under the guidelines of the state or country where the crime is committed and people are aware of the conviction?

Or

Is this when a person sells their CD’s and or DVD’s in the street by trying to convince you into taking the CD or DVD in your hand and not letting it go asking for a donation?

A CD or DVD that you’re supposed to buy, because they have some words and or their picture pasted on the cover?

A CD or DVD that you can’t see or hear although there are more than enough portable devices that they can utilize to display their product?

Is it how many shows, showcases, radio shows etc. a person/people do when more than half of the performance time is used to complain about the state of real hip hop and ask people to purchase products that they don’t want?

Some Simple Questions

Who told different people that are not involved with the crime the details of the crime?

Why would a person/people commit crimes and leave witnesses?

Why would a person/people that commit crimes tell people they committed the crime?

Why would a person/ people tell people that they have been arrested when they are not filling out an application for a job that specifically asks you if you’ve been convicted of a felony and warns you that if you are found to be telling an untruth the position that your applying for will be forfeited?

What does a person/people gain from snitching/incriminating them self?

What position are you applying for when you release such sensitive information?

What are you obtaining from the person your exchanging this information with?

Also

When did begging become cool?

When did begging make you a tough guy?

How difficult has it become to brush your teeth and wash your face before jumping up in a persons face in an attempt at friendly extortion in exchange for a CD OR DVD?

Isn’t panhandling illegal in New York?

Can you sell something useful while you’re in the same spot all day like:

Loosies (single cigarettes sold individually from the pack)

$5 packs of Newport’s

Nutcrackers

Marijuana

Bootleg CD’s and DVD’s of real music and movies

Yamp yamp (fake) Nike shox, Moncler jackets, Champion sweatshirts, Ralph Lauren Mercer club, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Fendi?

In order to have and or expand street credibility a person must:

Tell anyone who will listen that they have committed a crime, (snitch/inform/incriminate) themselves.

Be arrested and let people know they’ve been arrested and the person they tell, will in turn tell others (snitch/inform)

Have someone witness the crime that will tell others (snitch/inform).

One must either associate with a snitch/informant or be a snitch/informant.

They must be a petty criminal unwilling to commit crimes that carry sentences that are much more serious such as murder to ensure they will not be arrested by allowing a witness, snitch or informant (all of which are different) to live?

Maybe their simply bad at what they do, not getting caught.

Must be a person/people who seek acknowledgement for the crimes they have committed.

Or

Stand in the same place everyday asking the same people to buy the same CD/DVD.

Be able to put on a game face, look people in the eye and with all seriousness tell a person to give up something for nothing.

In short

Getting caught for breaking the law is easy.

It’s more difficult to graduate from the public school system.

Committing a crime to obtain some level of goods is not as relevant as obtaining a reputation as a criminal according to street credibility.

In order to have street credibility the streets must be talking.

I’m not interested in interacting with the law in anyway that will end up with me being placed in the penile system. The Streets have too many snitches, informants and people seeking street credibility than I choose to be bothered with.

I don’t do hand to hand (sell CD’s and DVD’s) at this moment but if I choose to do so I will not try to intimidate, beg or disgust someone into making a purchase. I will show some level of salesmanship in order to push my product.

This is mArlOn m. wILLIs telling the streets to keep my name out your mouth if you know what’s good for you and this is not a threat because that’s premeditated and its not a promise because a promise is a comfort to a fool.

A few nights ago I was in a social club enjoying a libation when a young woman that I showed no sign of interest in fell out of the sky and proceeded to tell me “I don’t wear name brands”. I ignored her and proceeded to add this statement to the notepad in my phone.

She then made it her business to tell me “that’s a fancy phone have you always been this fabulous”?

At this point I’m amused because I’m engaging in a conversation with a woman that I feel is way below my standards although she would be a prize for some sucker on a corner trying to scrape up a meal.

Before you roll your eyes into the back of your head let it be known the woman I call “The One” can be viewed in this manner by another person.

One mans trash is another mans treasure.

If your preoccupied with what others think about whom you choose to call “The One” you will never find that buried treasure.

I don’t like to misinterpret what people say so I asked her to explain herself. She told me “ The way you dress isn’t like anything I’ve ever seen”

I simply smiled and replied, “I’m sure”

At this point my only goal is to speak on the phrase “I don’t wear name brands” not with this less than attractive woman but with you the reader.

Fast Forward

A night or so after this I’m in a lounge. Based on the visual presentation of this crowd I knew I was in for a confrontational evening.

A young lady who was sitting at a table with another woman that I found pleasant to look upon proceeded to approach the bar and rudely speak through me to the bartender ordering some wine.

I attempted to move out her way and as I did she said: “I’m sorry I thought you were a billboard with all the brands that you’re advertising I’m not into name brand clothing”.

I simply smiled and replied, “I’m sure”

As I enjoyed a libation followed by a glass of water. I happened to glance in the direction of the table and noticed the same woman that attempted to slander me earlier focused on me in strong conversation with the young woman I found pleasant to look upon.

I quickly turned my head but it was too late.

She was feverishly waving her arm in the air signaling in my direction.

I turned my back in an attempt to ignore her but the bartender made it his business to advise me the young lady was beckoning me because she had made it her business to signal him to alert me.

Now that she had my attention, I proceeded to walk over only making eye contact and focusing on the young lady that was pleasant to look upon.

The woman that invited me over proceeded to introduce herself, her associate and then began with her line of questioning.

“What’s your name”?

Marlon M. Willis

“So what do you do for a living”?

I’m a Troubadour

She paused and said “interesting”.

At this point I’m supposed to assume she knows what a Troubadour is.

It’s of no consequence because I only have interest in the woman that is pleasant to look upon who waits eagerly for her less than attractive associate to go in for the kill.

I’m familiar with this type of person.

This is where she brings up the title and author of a book that is mandatory reading for a college course that’s a prerequisite for liberal arts or humanities. These degrees include most prerequisites required for most of the other college majors although these degrees don’t command the same level of respect even though one must still dedicate themselves to obtain set degree.

This is the attempt to gauge the level of institutional education that I’ve completed after engaging with illustrators mere mortals confuse for teachers.

This is where I am to be dissected, made to feel little in her attempt to justify her lack of interest in possessing: luxury goods, money, family (not to be confused with relatives) etc.

This is because I’m a gaudy jewelry, luxury brand wearing no haircut having straight black man showing great interest and indulgence in all things she is incapable of obtaining or understanding.

There is always a sentence in her conversations with “remember when” with those who have accepted this lack of luxury as some sign of intelligence.

Although it’s been at least 10 years since they’ve finished school and I’m being kind with the time frame based on overall appearance.

It amazes me how little most people have done worth mentioning in conversation since leaving college.

Instead of allowing this to escalate I thwarted any attempt of this by proceeding to compliment her associates appearance at the same time effortlessly belittling this less than attractive woman by not engaging with her beyond her last question “ So what do you do for a living” making it quite clear that although she initiated this interaction she is simply the third wheel.

I Don’t Wear Name Brands

First and foremost I never asked you if you wear name brands.

Unless you grow your own cotton, pick it, process it etc. you wear name brands.

Actually I’ll make it even simpler, unless you design and make your own clothing and do not associate a company name or your name for that matter with the garment.

You’re wearing a name brand.

If you have a tag in your clothing with a name on it is a name brand. If you cut out the tag, it still is a name brand you’re simply denying anyone the capability to see what name brand it is.

People need to be specific with their statements.

Don’t let your envy drive you in ways that stagnate you when you communicate making it obvious that your mind is second.

Practice saying the following: I don’t wear brands of clothing that have emblems, monograms or the name of the brand displayed to the public on the garment.

When saying this to someone that you have this burning desire to express this to be sure not to be wearing one of your garments or bags with the cats or the c’s all over it or those jeans with the back pockets shaped like apples.

Or

Practice saying the following: I don’t wear or support luxury brand items.

When saying this be sure not be wearing one of your knock off items or those items you find in those magazines made to give those that would like to indulge but lack the resources to partake in any level of luxury something that only a blind person would confuse with the luxury article.

Either way don’t say this to me I have no interest in your reasons why, what third world country has underpaid laborers sewing shirts etc.

There is enough going on in America to occupy everyone’s charitable efforts. Take care of home first.

Look at yourself before you try to temporarily satisfy your shortcomings with interactions attempting to box with god.

You will always find that your arms are simply too short.

Gods Language

mArlOn m. wILLIs

This is as simple as it gets. These are the things that influenced the way Marlon M. Willis clothes himself.

The first is my mother.

To this day she still wears large frame eyewear and she never goes outside of her home without wearing a pair. She has them numbering in the 100’s She’s always picking up new items and she has one of the largest wardrobes I’ve ever seen.

The second is a man my mother dated for many years who during the time I thought was my father (that’s another story), Easton Walker.

He was a tall man that always wore tailored clothing ¾ leather dress shoes with a heel and cowboy boots. All custom tailored made from alligator or ostrich to his specifications. He taught me to dress for myself and don’t make any attempt to satisfy someone else because you can’t and they never asked you to. He also taught me that there is nothing in this world too expensive for yourself because you can never spend too much on yourself but you can definitely spend too much on someone else this includes time.

The third is the late David McKenzie aka Jamaican Dave aka 2 Gunn.

This was the first person to introduce me to luxury brands and heavy jewelry during the late 80’s. To this day I’m still not familiar with the “absolute luxury” that “inhabit the upper strata of luxury”.  I’m more familiar with aspirational brands and the high-end of the accessible brands all of which form the 3 tiers of luxury. He influenced me in other ways but this discussion will stay limited to clothing. Rest In Peace Sir.

The fourth and probably the most influential are the New York City homeless of the mid to late 80’s.

Not the obvious crack head, strung out drug addict or alchaholic but the ones that were simply down on their luck and or the mentally unstable. This is where I learned about layering clothes from various seasons to build a functional outfit. This is where the capability to match colors becomes mind-boggling. Are they doing this on purpose? There way of dress seem so complicated but effortless at the same time. The ones that I would see in the city (Manhattan) utilized the most luxury brands in their outfits. They wore items from various designers, seasons that spanned over many years in many cases combining clothing and shelter into one.

The fifth influence was Kinapps.

During the 80’s this was the premier barbershop in Brooklyn. During this time no one wanted to have his or her hair looking like anyone else’s. This was accomplished by intricate designs made by turning parts into artwork, hair dye and in some cases growing flattops to new heights, cutting the top in different styles and finally locking.

Outside of true Rastafarians it was rare to see locks on most people and this is when it was incorporated into these high priced hairdos.

The sixth influences are old Caucasian men with money that wear luxury brands.

They have their clothing tailored to fit even though some are not in the best shape. The way the utilize various materials and pieces the common man would only wear during certain occasions and for that matter simply wouldn’t own to create an outfit for everyday use. The ways they make what takes effort seem effortless with a natural display of confidence that doesn’t look false to spectators. They wear the clothing not collect it and stare at it. They wear sneakers that are obviously not new out the box. While displaying well-polished shoes when they so choose to wear them. They use the clothing in the most obvious way it was meant to be used, wear it.

What I wear was never targeted to inner city youth. My way of dress came to be before many companies sought a market that specifically included inner city youth.

The seventh is New York City of the late 80’s early 90’s.

During this time there was always a type of jewelry (name plates, herringbone, cables, anchors, 4,3, and 2 finger rings, fronts and bridges (today they have been reintroduced as grills) mariner, Miami Cuban etc. to name a few.

Various articles of clothing embraced by the inner city before the Internet and influence of hip hop on what is now called “street culture”. You had some idea what borough a person lived in by the way they dressed or you could figure out where they hung out. In some cases you could pin point what neighborhood within the borough.

Due to cultural diffusion, various media vehicles (Internet, magazines, radio etc.) The world has become one.

In theory that’s a positive but in reality it’s negative because it’s the negative low-end bottom feeder attributes that have been adapted from across the board from various “cultures”.

Mr. Walters said it best in Hey Young World “Times have changed and it’s cool to look bummy”

This applies mainly to my age group because you know better. I place no fault on the teenagers and preteens of today because it has been and always will be the job of the senor to provide some level of guidance for the youth and the youth will in turn assist the senor when they become senile.

I’m simply the best-dressed man in the universe and I’m letting you know where the influence in the way I present myself in regards to the way I clothe myself originated from.

I do not associate myself with terms like dress up or dress down. I simply dress. Please don’t associate me with any so-called clothing collectors, fashion gangs or an alternative lifestyle. I’m simply the best-dressed man on the planet actually the best-dressed being in the universe. Its actually more complicated than it looks; I simply make it look easy.

Today it seems like most don’t put much effort into their appearance although you are immediately judged on it. Unless you’re at some nude resort your clothing speaks for you and keeping in shape also has a lot to do with fashion but that will be another subject that will be discussed at a later date.

One may say what does clothing say?

It all depends on who’s looking and what the person was thinking when they ‘released the statement’ most have simply come to know as an outfit.

The most important thing to remember is why should you care and when. For me it’s never, for someone looking for a job or trying to get the approval of people in particular industries it may mean something. I will not speak on this because this is not my situation but what I will do is provide you with a guide so that you may have a better understanding of the art of dressing to die.

What is your lifestyle?

This will determine the foundation of your wardrobe. Most people’s occupation (what you are actually paid to do not what you aspire to be) takes up the majority of their time outside of the home. This is your lifestyle and you should build your wardrobe based on this because lacking functional clothing is a problem most people have. This should be easy because your employer will have a dress code or the industry your in will have an overall standard in most cases. For those that are free to dress how they chose you are the few and you’re at a great advantage. Think of it as being school aged attending a school that wears uniform v. a school that doesn’t. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. The whole question is to who and why?

Who do you want to attract?

If you’re a man attracted to women you wont hold interest in what your male counterparts feel about the way you dress especially those that don’t attract the attention of women. The same goes for women attracted to men, men attracted to men and women attracted to women.

In many cases people dress seeking the approval of the sex that they have no sexual attraction for instead of dressing for the sex that they are attracted to.

For example:

A woman wears low-rise jeans although she does not have the shape for it. She has extra fat that pours over the top of her jeans. The pants are tight to the point that you can see all dimples and indentations throughout the thigh and butt area exposing what many women consider a physical flaw cellulite. The front of her jeans don’t enhance or compliment the shape of her vagina. It either has too much material or the material is spread wide tight and flat over her crotch area, this look depends on a combination of the shape and proportion of her hip thighs and butt.

A man wears extremely baggy jeans that don’t fit and hang off of his waist with his back pockets close to the knees, boxers exposed, bottom of the jeans rolled up multiple times, the back of the hem at the bottom of the jeans damaged from dragging on the street, he has to walk with his legs spread in order to keep the pants from falling off although he has a belt. In most cases this person has not purchased the correct size jean (waist and length) and because they are so large they tend to have a wrinkled dirty appearance.

In the example for the woman, instead of wearing jeans that are the correct size and cut that compliment her figure she’s preoccupied with keeping up with what she sees in fashion magazines, videos etc. usually presented on women that are actually complimented by these very same garments that she spends her money on to make a spectacle of herself.

As for the man, instead of wearing jeans that have the correct waist and length in a cut he feels comfortable in that will enhance his appearance he shows more interest in being accepted by his peers or he’s attempting to attract someone that will find his rear end attractive because he’s going to great lengths to expose it.

I can’t tell you exactly what these people are thinking when they present themselves like this because I am not them. It’s simply an observation.

What level of attention are you willing to deal with?

Dressing like everyone around you in whatever is “in” makes most people comfortable. They can coexist with little to no issues amongst the majority. The majority being those who follow, versus the minority who are those that lead.

If you put on an article of clothing that makes you second-guess yourself diminishing your self-confidence, don’t wear it.

If you’re preoccupied with people questioning your sexuality this is not an issue with your clothing, that’s an issue with yourself as a person.

Lets get right to it.

To date I have not seen a pair of Hermes or Burberry Burberrys’ sneakers that I find appealing.

No I have never actually made a wearable model of any sneakers I have designed until now.

Yes I appreciate it when a company allows me some form of customization to their product.

No I can’t make a pair of sneakers to go with every item I have because the options offered are limited to certain materials colors and styles all of which are not useful to what I’m trying to create. My catalog is simply too vast and ever expanding.

It’s also unnecessary because there is footwear (sneakers boots and shoes) that appeal to me from various labels. I only do this when a label doesn’t provide me with footwear that I deem worthy of being placed in my catalog at the time I’m in the mood to build on that page of my catalog.

At this point you should know that if Marlon M. Willis doesn’t place it in the catalog it either isn’t worthy, I haven’t got around to enlightening you on it or I haven’t put my hands on it yet. Therefore many of you labels still have a chance.

A suggestion to any companies that offer customization of their products.

When customizing a product it would be nice to have real life samples of textures and colors that you offer as an option. There is no need to make this standard I personally would be willing to spend extra for the samples or you can even credit this to the final cost of the product being ordered. In some cases you can make money off of the samples simply because a consumer such as myself would rather spend a lower amount to determine if I want to spend the higher amount for the product in question especially since the labels that I have dealt with today have very strict return policies. You would also find more consumers willing to take a chance with customization if they felt more confident in how the final product would look like based on the options offered. This is based on me making these purchases on line. I’ve never experienced in house customization so I can’t speak on their methods. Colors on a computer screen don’t always translate over to the colors in real life. Pictures of textures being offered don’t translate at all. It may for someone educated in fashion but it doesn’t for the average consumer.

Marlon M. Willis says familiarize yourself with the following definitions according to Marlon in no particular order. This is so there is no confusion in the statements I make. I don’t want the reader to assume anything. Nothing I put out for your minds consumption is up for your interpretation. What I speak write etc. is Gods language, Old Testament I am always direct with the people. I love you all.

Customization is when a company allows variations to their products. They will use materials that their quality control department has approved. The colors offered are limited to what their designers deem suitable. Consumers may not always agree with the choices offered but in this case the key word is choice. In some cases there are third party collaborations that are sanctioned by the original label allowing a third party to present its own take on a product that the company currently offers.

Collaboration in some cases is when a third party/parties are sanctioned by the label to create a unique product that will fall under the labels name, its simply being a guest designer which in many cases is a privilege for the guest and creative marketing for the label in question.

Customization can also be adding, subtracting various elements from an item for the sole purpose of having a unique item and this is not sanctioned from the original label. It becomes fraudulent when a person attempts to pass these customized items off as an authentic article by the original label. Some who are skilled at this do command attention to the point others are willing to pay them for these customized items. Once the party purchasing is aware that this is not a sanctioned product and they are purchasing a unique item there is no flaw.

Counterfeiting is when a third party takes an authentic item and duplicates it without permission from the label that currently or in some cases previously offered the item.

Tailoring is when an item is altered to fit a consumer’s measurements. Colors are not changed, badges are not added etc.

Influenced items. We are human beings while some of us strive to create original items, in living life we are influenced by the world around us in some cases its direct and intentional while in others its subconscious. Some feel they can improve or in some cases create something starting with a product that already exist as the foundation to what they feel will be or in their mind is something greater. In this case the original item is simply a catalyst.

The following are the first items I have ever customized. I don’t seek anyone’s approval for what I have done I simply want you to know it can and has been done by the most interesting best dressed human being in the universe.

Show your eyes some class and don’t forget to check the blog Previously on Marlon M. Willis. It’s constantly updated.

I didn’t plan on it but for the sake of the article I’ll throw in a few works of art in the very end so you can once again without fail see how it’s done. In some cases the footwear that was designed wasn’t used because it either wasn’t available at the time or the current weather conditions for that day wouldn’t allow for it. With imagination you will see the connection. I don’t get dressed to take pictures for the sake of posting them on the Internet, I simply photograph myself after my day has come to an end in the garments I wore when I remember and my schedule allows for it.

For those familiar with my masterpieces let us move forward, first let me apologize for not providing you with the guidance and nutrition you have come to yearn after dealing with Marlon. Remember I am solely responsible for every aspect of the work that I release and I also finance all of my projects. Although the economy has taken a turn for the worst a sTenTorian still must maintain the sUprEmE bEaM level of fresh that those that have had the privilege of interacting with me have grown accustomed to me displaying. mArlOn m. wILLIs the most interesting man on this planet showing you how its done giving you the false sense that this is easy and in most cases the false hope you could do what I do. As you can tell by now I truly love and miss you all. Excuse my digression and onto one of many reviews sure to give you something to add to the catalog or simply desire or consider.

As previously mentioned in the blog Vuitton Congo Messenger Bag MM I saw another bag that I wanted to put in my rotation between the rucksack and the LV Congo Messenger Bag MM and I’m back to inform you that I have. Besides the Vuitton Broadway Bag there was another bag that happens to be by LV the Vuitton Reporter Melville Bag (I will not show any pictures of this bag), that I was considering. I wasn’t going to buy them both because they are both Damier Canvas and both messenger bags.

While those familiar with me know me for getting two sometimes three of items that seem identical to those that are not in the know I simply don’t feel this way about bags, the criteria to place a bag in my catalog differs from most items as you will soon learn once you continue reading.

Based on the title of this blog you already know the winner but its imperative that I inform you as to why.

Both bags are masculine so this was not a defining factor. Both as previously mentioned are Damier Canvas. I’m sorry but I must digress once more.

Before I continue I would like to say I don’t judge anyone for anything that they wear purchase etc. I’m way too into myself to give anyone that much energy but what I must say is that your doing yourself a disservice when you support counterfeit goods. I don’t say this because I support authentic only goods but because the quality of goods you receive from counterfeiters is extremely poor. Don’t waste your money on something made to look like something that withstands the test of trends and boast a high level of craftsmanship. You’re better off purchasing goods that have a higher level of craftsmanship although the brand if any may not carry the level of exclusivity of the brand your poorly made counterfeit items is degrading, one because its an obvious fake and two the person carrying it carries themselves in such a pitiful manner that even if you could get the authentic item don’t bother because you simply can’t pull off an outfit or in the case of a sTenTorian a masterpiece that pieces the puzzle together.

Simply put I live in New York City and I’m tired of all the Dam-near yamp yamp (counterfeit) items my sight is bombarded with. Dam-near Damier get it? Thank me mArlOn wrote this instead of saying this the new addition to your vocabulary might have flown over your head. God’s language.

One over the other

The Melville Reporter is pleasant to look at but based on the size of the main compartment could not be considered it simply cant support my daily needs. I actually liked the placement of the pockets on both sides. If they sold a larger version of this bag it would have made the decision much more difficult. What also makes this bag unique is that it closes using plastic buckles rather than the standard brass hardware. Actually there is no brass hardware visible on the outside of this bag. I can’t mention the interior because I was pretty much turned off when I realized the main compartment couldn’t serve my needs. The only reason I’m putting this out there is because this bag is also a worthy addition to ones catalog just not for me.

The Broadway Bag is spacious were it counts the main compartment of the bag.

damier open signed

It also has two additional pockets in the front that are useful and at the same time sets this bag apart from others in the men’s section utilizing the same canvas.

damier pockets 2nd signed

The way this bag closes is also unique two slits in the flap are placed over the brass hardware then two leather straps simply slide through brass hardware securing the bag.

DAMIER CLOSED 3rd signed

The Broadway can be carried by a handle at the top giving it another option as far as how it can be carried pretty much giving the user another way to present the bag. Like most other messengers it can also be carried across or over the shoulder.

damier handle 4th signed

As you can see by my previous choice of bag from LV I like something that looks unique in design although it is made from a canvas familiar to most. In the end what counts the most is the bags functionality. In my case it is the Vuitton Broadway Messenger.

Enemies

In order to be an enemy ones target must acknowledge the entity as a threat.

One must have the sophistication to differentiate between an enemy, a hater and a way of life.

An enemy has the potential to eliminate that which it dislikes thus making it a threat.

That which it dislikes is its enemy.

Some enemies have long term engagements making constant attempts to fulfill the desire to destroy their intended target. This is the arch nemesis.

In many cases death is the only solution to relive your life of an enemy.

To allow an enemy to live allows them to regroup and potentially eliminate the intended target.

Any and all entities that knowingly support your enemy are also your enemy and must also be eliminated.

An enemy can start out as but can never become a friend.

Do not let an enemy who was once your friend, get a pass. These enemies must especially be eliminated because they can once again undermine their targets confidence while they regroup, in order to fulfill the desire to conquer their enemy.

One must kick their enemy while they are down. When one can eliminate an enemy there is no room for negotiation.

Negotiation is an option when one feels their demise is greatly probable.

At this point one must convince their enemy to negotiate in their favor without their enemy being aware that they currently have the potential to eliminate them. This is in order for the one facing their demise to regroup and either take flight or fight again.

Elimination with the least amount of effort is important. Only a fool will exhaust all of their resources to eliminate an enemy. In many cases an enemy’s goal is to take something from their opponent. It’s not always life; it can be material, relationships etc. If you loose these things even after eliminating an enemy you have lost.

Keep in mind your enemy may be suicidal. They may be willing to sacrifice everything including their life to eliminate their enemy. Example Kamikaze

The most dangerous enemy is one with less to loose than you, one that does not value their own life, one that is always ready to roll around on the ground with you.

Hater

A hater dislikes an intended target. This hate is based on having a desire to possess that which the intended target has for example. A car, money, women etc. that the hater does not and due to various deficiencies will never possess. The intended hatee in most cases doesn’t know that the individual hater exist but is well aware that haters in general do exist. In some cases a hater can develop into an enemy. This takes place because the hater now poses some form of threat.

Way of Life

A way of life is not a threat although one may dislike it. Its existence is beyond the scope of your control. It does have the potential to change. This change will usually not take place by your means. All is not lost, one can analyze this way of life and decide if there is a way to reach a status in life that will allow you to influence this way of life that you dislike. For example a billionaire becomes a Mayor not for a small paycheck but to influence aspects of life that individual and their constituents once had a dislike for.

Gods Language

Let me start by saying I’m not or rather I wasn’t into designer bags. To put it simple I have found their appearance to come off feminine and I still will not utilize a bag that has any resemblance to what can be confused with a woman’s purse even if it’s found in the men’s section of the more reputable high end designer stores.

My turning point.

While in route to conduct some business in the city (NYC) I had some time to burn before my appointment so I decided to surf the net on a terminal at the campus I had my meeting scheduled. Someone left the browser up and it was on LV’s website. What the hell I like their footwear and it’s been a minute since I looked at anything so I began going through the men’s section. Don’t ask why but I decided to look at the men’s bags. I find it humorous how men have been in many cases carrying bags that resemble purses and this is ok because their ‘somebody’. Anyway I looked at the monogram section first, I’m a sTenToRiAN (I’ve turned it into a noun check the article sTenToRiANs for a detailed definition) I don’t find interest in anything minimal more is more. And there it was at the very bottom of the list, the Vuitton Congo Messenger Bag MM.

The first thing that caught my eyes was the net that covers more than half of the front of the bag when it’s closed. I’ve never seen anyone with an LV bag that looks like this. I’m used to seeing the usual yAmP yAmPs that the majority of people in New York are carrying. Don’t let the partial minks and those jumping out of leased and financed luxury cars fool you. The majority is yAmpy (check the article yAmP yAmps for a detailed definition). I personally get tired of having to gamble on items from designers that have monogram lines because of the possibility of the item being yAmpEd. I apologize for my digression.

At first glance there is no question that this is a man’s bag. All I could think of was Polo Sportsman. This bag would compliment all of the items sweaters, button down shirts, Indian heads, salt water, Country line goose down jackets and vest ¾ jackets etc. the list goes on. sTenToRiANs have a strong penchant for pOweR iTemS from Polo by Ralph Lauren specifically between the years of 1987-1994 (see my blog previously on mArlOn m. wILLIs to see the items). How others shop is pointless the way a sTenToRiAN shop’s is by constantly piecing together a puzzle that creates an outfit that one will view as a masterpiece. Once again I apologize for my digression.

My olive drab rucksack has been my daily bag for as long as I could remember. Its roomy and cheap and it doesn’t bother me to put it on the ground. The Congo was the sign that it may be time for retirement or at least a reduction in its daily use. Question is, is this designer bag functional? Answer yes.

The Congo has a removable waterproof case (major plus) within the bag that’s secured with 6 button snaps.

The dimensions are perfect for my daily arsenal. My 13 inch MacBook (it’s reliable why upgrade), Mighty Mouse, 2 Iomega portable hard drives, MBOX2 MICRO, iLok and all of the cords and adapters, a totes umbrella and whatever other minor items may vary depending on the days destination and weather.

Well a few months have passed since I acquired the bag and its everything I thought it would be and more. My wife has a few LV bags but I never paid them too much attention besides the cost when I’m paying for them. One thing I have noticed and like is the way the leather gets a distinct look from weathering/aging (not being dirty big difference). I must report that I have seen another bag that I would like to put into my rotation between the rucksack and the LV Congo Messenger MM. I do have a wish list but as you may know by now I don’t like to speak on an item until it is in hand.

Oh yeah before you sheep point it, yeah that’s a bag for my bagkey chain signed
